Joachim Scheuerer is the visionary behind the Palm Garden Retreat—a lifelong seeker, teacher, and companion to those walking the path of inner transformation.

With a background in architecture, visual art, and therapeutic design, Joachim has spent decades exploring how space, presence, and awareness shape human experience. His work bridges Eastern contemplative traditions, modern psychology, and field-based awareness models he co-developed, such as the Omnion and the X-face Method.

Joachim’s journey led him from European creative circles to the bamboo jungles of Thailand, where he built the retreat center not only as a place of rest—but as a living temple of resonance.

At the heart of his teaching is the insight that awareness exists in layers—local and non-local—and that our most meaningful growth happens when we learn to move consciously between them.
